President's Message about DUG 2018

Dear DUG members, Our 2018 conference is just around the corner. This year's conference is located in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. Evans and Sutherland never fail to host an interesting conference for DUG members, and this year will be no exception. If this will be your first conference, there is much to look forward to. Prior to the conference, E&S will be hosting pre-conference workshops that cover everything from Javascript to Unity. The conference itself is a showcase of user submitted content, demonstrations, and of course the annual contest for quality submissions. If you are interested in seeing some of the fantastic scenery of Utah's national parks, then consider attending the post conference Moab excursion, and remember to bring your camera

The Digistar Users Group conference is a wonderful place to exchange ideas with other users as well as the engineers behind Digistar. Please visit the website for registration information and further details. https://www.dug2018.org/ Keep in mind, we are on the lookout for a conference host for the 2020 conference. The Digistar Users Group is an international group of users, and as such, we hope to find someone outside of the U.S. to host the 2020 conference. If you are interested, please consider making a bid at this year's conference. I look forward to seeing you at this year's meeting,

Jason Heaton President of the Digistar Users Group
